Paul Mackey forms Crashteams AVIATION. WIth over 27 years experience in the aviation industry and many plane crash reconstructions under his belt he is perfectly positioned to grow the aviation wing of Crashteams.
Crashteams AVIATION experts have experience in: aircraft component inspections, digital flight data interpretation, mapping aviation accidents and witness statements.

Greg joined Crashteams after having spent 20 years in law enforcement. Greg investigated and reconstructed accidents and instructed others in these, as well as many other, subjects.
During his law enforcement career, Greg Sullenberger has attained 14 years of crash reconstruction experience. His expertise is in reconstructing accidents and the forensic mapping of scenes. He is also a trained operator in 360 degree scanning using forensic measuring equipment such as the Leica 3D Laser Scanner (Scanstation).
Mr. Sullenberger has been involved in many high profile cases, such as being part of the forensic mapping team of the UNITED flight 93 crash on September 11, 2001 in Buckstown, PA (see left photo).

Mr. Craig Luker, PE, PEng, ACTAR is a registered Professional Engineer with extensive experience investigating and reconstructing motor vehicle accidents. He has been working in this field since 1995. In that time he has reconstructed over 1500 motor vehicle accidents.
Craig is a high profile addition to Crashteams, with an outstanding track record, publishing papers for SAE International, verifying and testing accelerometers for accuracy, and being proficient in numerous types of total stations.
His work has included scene inspections, vehicle inspections, testing, field and laboratory research, analysis, computer simulations and report writing.

After a recent high profile but low speed rollover collision which involved a police cruiser and a SUV which rolled, Brad Booth (our Local Crashteams partner) was asked by the local newspaper to comment on such accidents and the likeliness of rollovers of SUV's in collisions.
In 2006, 2,888 people died in SUV rollover crashes while 4,352 died in passenger rollover car crashes, according to NHTSA’s annual assessment. The dangers od SUV rollovers and high possibility of occuring even at low speeds such as 10-15mph was outlined in the following newspaper article.
